About Uren Lab
Uren Lab is an independent technology studio based in Taiwan, developing software, embedded systems, developer tools, and experimental technical projects. The work grows from hands-on prototyping and practical engineering.
What We Build
Tools for electronics prototyping, anonymous submissions, embedded networking experiments, and practical privacy-focused applications.
- OpenCircuit — A local-first workspace for wiring, firmware, and electronics prototypes.
- VoiceDrop — Anonymous submissions and moderated boards for schools and organizations.
- ESP32-NetUnlocker — An ESP32 captive portal and DNS-forwarding experiment.
- Open Shortcut Chat — Invitation-based encrypted chat with Apple Shortcuts integration.
Development Approach
Start with a concrete problem, implement a prototype, and test its behavior. Keep experimental work and verified outcomes distinct. Improve usability alongside the engineering.
